Anyone have any suggestions before I contact Cooler Master support A couple of things to note, I have the USB cable connected, not the RGB one and the software I downloaded was the Wraith Prism V.1.15.exe.

Dual rad.Ģx32GB DDR4 3600 Corsair Vengeance RGB C18-22-22-22-42 TRFC704 (1.4V, SoC 1.15V Hynix MJR) Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference. Whenever I open the software I just get a notice saying Plugin your CM device to get started. Some forum said to plug the CPU cooler in a different port on the motherboard. If you're setting up an iPhone or iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular), you might need to insert your iPhone SIM card or iPad SIM card first. Tap the Wi-Fi network that you want to use or select a different option. Tried the coolermaster application (wraith prism) which says 'Plug in your cm device to get started'. You need to connect to a Wi-Fi network, a cellular network, or iTunes to activate and continue setting up your device. I have an ASUS x470 prime motherboard and 2700x cpu.

Maybe both pc users just got lucky that they got "top of silicon lotery", dunno. With three 12cm in front, top two 12cm and rear one 12cm. What can I add is that both these pc had "ok" cases. It limited voltage for x to 1.23 and xt 1.27. Before this utility both cpus jumped from time to time up to 1.55v which is alot. Later on both pc used ryzen master utility auto oc options. When occt stress was used test temps were around 85-90 both. From time to time i did see 40 tempersture because it did jump in voltage when power was needed. On idle both (web browsing) cpu temps were from 25-40. On stock cooler while playing games on both of these cpu temperature is from 50-65 (depends what you play and of course settings). Not so long ago did two builds one with 3600x and other with 3600xt. Stop telling "stock cooler, blah, blah crap". Really confused now and not sure what else I can do to fix it.First of all, guys who don't have 3600, 3600x or 3600xt. I even tried unplugging the fan cable at cpu_fan1 and ONLY having the USB 2.0 connected, but when I do that obviously the fan is completely off, no Windows sound effect either (ie no connection detected whatsoever). If I plug and unplug the USB 2.0 cable, I do get the Windows USB connection sound effect so I don't think my issue requires splicing as was the fix in the link above. In Device Manager it also says "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)". Still get the "plug in your CM device" warning. Online forums pointed towards connecting only USB 2.0 cable so I did that (the RGB cable is NOT connected). Got the "plug in your CM device to get started" once the software runs. That's been working fine - fan runs, get the default RGB lighting.īut now I want to customize the lighting, so I got the Wraith Prism software. I've connected the top cable into the cpu_fan1 header on my motherboard (a m450 gaming pro carbon). I have a a Ryzen 3700x with the Wraith Prism fan. Linking this post as it basically describes my situation (but without the right fix).
